My Testimony
Before I believed Jesus Christ , I just spent my whole life with
earthly things. After I had passed the matric exam I used to serve my
country as a head clerk at township youth organization committee and
attend centre Institute of Political Science for 8 years. On account
of political change in my country, I spent another 6 years of my life
as a farmer at my native town(SI NGAI).At that time I didn't find any
precious things in my life such as a real joy, peace and happiness. My
life was full with greedy, angry and sadness. I felt that there was no
peace in my life.
Fortunately, while I was wandering and spending my life without hope,
I found an Evangelist and invited him to have home crusade for two
weeks in march 1993.From that period of time, I believed Jesus Christ
as my personal saviour and was baptized by a pastor at once. After I
believed Christ, I found a real joy, peace and happiness that I was
looking for a long time. The Holy Spirit reminded me about who I am,
so I began to confess I was a sinner even before I was born. After
that He totally changed my life to live in spirit and newness of life
which I never had before.
After I believed Christ, I was touched by the Holy Spirit to establish
the kingdom of God. So I began to served the LORD as a pastor of
United Reformed Church at my own village in the year of 1994- 1996.And
from 1997 to 2003, I served the LORD as a province secretary in Falam,
Chin state. At the middle of the year 2003, I was transferred to
Yangon as Assembly Secretary.
When I arrived Yangon, I saw many unbelievers who never heard about
the cross of Christ and I was so sad to see them wandering without
hope for their souls after death. I didn't satisfy just sitting in the
office at all times. The Holy Spirit touched me and reminded me about
Matt, 28; 19 -20 ,that is to make disciples of all nations,… So I
began to realized that It is necessary for me to preach the Gospel to
our neighbors who never heard it. At that very moment I committed my
life to the LORD to do mission ministry among the unbelievers
(Buddhism) in our country. So I wrote a letter of resignation the
Assembly of URC in February 2004.The Assembly of URC willingly allowed
me to resign as I had a desire to do mission ministry for Myanmar
people. So I started mission ministry, in Yangon, along with all my
family members in April 2004.
Our Ministry
During the year of 2004, another five ministers co-operated with us in
our mission and we all agreed "Grace Mission Ministry For Myanmar" to
be the name of our mission ministry. The reason we gave this name is
that we would let Myanmar people taste and feel the real and true
Grace of God,which they are searching for, through our ministry.
The following are the list of the ministers in Yangon Division,
1. Rev. John Hniar Ling Thang
2. Rev. Hrang Than Tiam.
3. Rev.Than Lian Ngur
4. Rev. Cung Nawl Piang
5. Sayamah Parmawi
6. Saya Aung Min.
We have (70) church members in Yangon division who were converted
from
Buddhism. All of them were from poor family. Out of our poverty we
help them as we could. Our main strategy in mission is to go to where
the unbelievers are. We visited them house to house and prayed for the
family's daily lives, works, and health and also gave them blessings
in the name of Christ. While some rejected us to visit their house,
some happily welcome us into their house. After making friendship with
them, we shared our testimonies about Christ to them and told them
how
they can get the real joy, peace in their own lives like us.
We also gave special teaching to those who wanted to except Jesus
Christ as their personal savior and to those who wanted to know more
about the cross of Christ. We gave water baptism, in the name of
trinity God, to those who confess theirs sins and put their trust in
Christ after examination.
We confronted attracting, rebuking and abusing in our ministry.Morover,
we are also bitterly hated by
Satan and his parties. They tried to stop us. But if it is not God's
will, they can do nothing to us. In fact, we don't afraid the man who
can only kill body but we do far more afraid the living God who can kill
both body and soul. Whenever the problems arose the Spirit of God
guided and told us how to solve those problems.
We also have mission field in Pago division. We have 3 full time
ministers and 2 part time ministers.Two of our part time ministers are
having a Bible study at a Bible college. They always go to outreach
and share the Gospel to their surrounding people from Friday evening
to Sunday.The following list are the name of our ministers in Sagai
divison;
1.Daw Tin Tin Aye (Pago)
2.Naing Naing Aung (Phawng Kyi)
3.Pastor Za Biak Lal (Bawh Tawng)
4.Mal Sawm Par (Saluchhung)
5.Mai Cinte (Asikttaung)
We originally have (54) church members in Pago division. But
,unfortunately,some of them are trying to backslide from their faith.
But Now we are giving them again training to grow their in faith.
However, we believed that the most important thing in our ministry is
quality rather than quantity.
We also have mission field in Sagai division. After the junta made
Chin State into two parts, It became Sagai division and Chin state.
But some complained it as both parts are still Chin state. However
most of the people in Chin state are Christians but there are many
non-christians in Sagai division. So our main focus is in Sagai
division and agreed it to be our mission field.We have (7) ministers
in there. The following are the list of their name;

2. Rev.San Hlei Thang (Singai)
3.Rev.Tluang Nawl Ling(Matupi)
4.Rev.En Thang (Tahan)
5.Rev.Lal Thlan That (Minhlah)

7.Rev.Vai Lian Sui (Tahan)
We have (156) church members in Sagai division. Our new converts faced
many difficulities such as cursing by their parents and expelling from
the house. But they are very strong in their faith and actively
participated in the ministry with their best.
Our Vision
1.Our main goal is that our country "Myanmar" to become a Christian
nation
through Grace Mission Ministry For Myanmar's ministry.
2. We have a vision to enlarge our mission field to Ayeyawaddy
division to preach the Gospel to the poor and to the suffering people
whose hearts are broken by Nargis cyclone.
3. We also have a vision to win souls not less than (50) in the year of
2008.
4. We also have a vision to have children ministry and orphanage
children home.
5. Our purpose is not just to have new converts but to train our new
converts to become a true disciple of Christ.
6. We also have a vision to have a literature service in the year of 2008.
Our Prayer Request
1.Some of our new converts are expelled by their families because of
their faith in Christ and some are suffering difficulties for their
living because the nargis cyclone totally destroyed their houses and
properties. They don't have a place to stay, enough water to drink and
foods to eat for their daily lives. In order to rebuild their damage
houses and to provide their needs, we humbly request your prayer and
helps.
2. We cannot give and provide our ministers a regular salary till to
day. Our mission ministry is going by faith. We are sharing our
tithes, offerings and love gift to each others. So we would like to
request your prayer and helps for the needs of our ministers.
3. We already have a place for orphanage children building and have
(11)orphanage children enrollment in our orphanage children home
ministry. We would like to request you prayer and support for the
buildings and the orphanage children whom we will let them involve and
accept to be our orphanage children.
4. Please pray for us and help us to have a strong faith to enter to
Ayeyawaddy division and win many souls there whose souls are crying
for our helps.If we can help and show our loves to them at this trouble
time,they will see the love of God through our helps and will listen what
we are preaching.
5.We want to have making disciples training once in a year. So we
earnestly request your prayer, help and teaching support.

The LORD needs your life, times, properties and money for the further
spreading of His Kingdom on earth. He will surely give it back to you
